FAQs

What makes a burger patty crispy?

The patty should have a high-fat content, preferably 80/20 ground beef, and a good sear on the outside to retain juices and prevent drying out.

Can I make crispy burgers without frying?

Yes, to achieve a similar sear, use a cast iron skillet or grill pan over high heat or bake the patties at 400°F or higher for a shorter time.

How do I prevent the bun from getting soggy?

Toast buns lightly, spread mayonnaise on the patty, and avoid overloading with wet ingredients.
